Hey there!

My name is Rachel, the writer behind SALT Copywriting who loves to tell a good story.

Despite what you may be thinking… I’m far more friendly than salty!

My journey into copywriting…

I’ve always loved to write.

I started writing professionally while managing a communications department at a local nonprofit. I loved my job and embraced the creative and strategic process behind running and writing the organization’s campaigns and marketing.

I never wanted it to end until I gave birth to my son.

I started to wonder if there was a way to continue to write while being able to spend as much time with my boy as possible.

I found the solution to my dilemma and became a freelance copywriter.

Managing a communications department and working alongside a marketing agency has shown me the power that well-written, authentic, and persuasive copy has in acquiring new leads, sales, or donations and retaining your current customer or donor database.
